There is a pestilence in Shanghai and most of the people have typhoid fever. Pak Leung monopolizes the sale of the medicine for typhoid fever and he sells it at high price in order to make profits. Yu Chu witnesses the plight of the common people, so she uses the program "Voice of the Righteousness" to criticizes the immoral practice of Pak Leung. Besides, she investigates Pak Leung's practice secretly and she finds evidence to prove that Pak Leung smuggles the medicine. Pak Leung's plan is ruined, however, he dares not to voice his grievance. After this incident, Sai Yuk changes his attitude towards Yu Chu.
